The states\u00a0affected\u00a0are: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The cucumbers they&rsquo;re recalling are dark green, about 1 \u00bd to 2 inches wide, and 5 to 9 inches long.\n\n</p><div class='\"e599d42b92530cddc130' d678c9ac111a6390ff29>\n<p>Fresh Start Produce says it&rsquo;s unlikely that these cucumbers are still being sold, but if anyone has them, they shouldn&rsquo;t eat them. They should throw them away or return them to where they bought them for a refund.\n\n</p><div class='\"e599d42b92530cddc130' d678c9ac111a6390ff29>\n<h2>The company has asked stores to\u00a0remove these cucumbers from their shelves.\n\n<div class='\"fe475c3f28885ceec1f1\"' tabindex='\"-1\"'>\n<div data-test-id='\"article-image-6\"'><picture class='\"b10992b7e7307cb7c32f\"'><source srcset='\"https:\/\/wl-brightside.cf.tsp.li\/resize\/728x\/webp\/a52\/55a\/60e15358a5a05d973261824e47.jpeg.webp' type='\"image\/webp\"'></source><img loading='\"lazy\"' decoding='\"async\"' id='\"image28002932\"' class='\"e33ce0f82f0e7404cc63\"' title='\"\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/wl-brightside.cf.tsp.li%5C/resize%5C/728x%5C/jpeg%5C/a52%5C/55a%5C/60e15358a5a05d973261824e47.jpeg%5C%22" alt='\"\"' width='\"728\"' height='\"971\"'>\n\n<div class='\"e599d42b92530cddc130' d678c9ac111a6390ff29>\n<p>The FDA is also checking if this sample is connected to a Salmonella outbreak they&rsquo;re investigating.\n</p><p>Salmonella can\u00a0make you\u00a0sick with fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. It can be really bad for kids, old people, and those with weak immune systems.
