His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it.\u00a0 After the store was locked up, the boss came down. \u201cHow many customers bought something from you today?\u201d\n
The kid, says \u201cOne.\u201d\n
The boss says, \u201cJust one? Our sales people average 20 to 30 customers a day.\u00a0 How much was the sale for?\u201d\n
The kid replies, \u201c$101,237.65.\u201d\n

The kid says, \u201cFirst, I sold him a small fish hook.\u00a0 Then I sold him a medium fishhook.\u00a0 Then I sold him a larger fishhook.\u00a0 Then I sold him a new fishing rod.\u201d\n
The kid continued, \u201cThen I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down to the boat department and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft.\u00a0 Then he said he didn\u2019t think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4\u00d74 Expedition.\u201d\n
The boss said, \u201cA guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a BOAT and a TRUCK?\u201d\n
The kid said, \u201cNo, the guy came in here to buy tampons for his wife, and I said,\u2026\u201d\n
