When the warm months are around the corner, most people feel relieved because they can finally get rid of the heavy clothing and the cold. However, with the warm weather come the mosquitoes that can make any experience out in the nature an unpleasant one.\n
When experiencing a mosquito bite, it leads to itching and redness and swelling around the area. This is a result of the mosquito saliva triggered by histamine. Sadly, at some people, the mosquito bites cause more severe reactions, such as swelling and itching that lasts for weeks. This is known as \u201cskeeter syndrome.\u201d\n
Luckily, there are certain cures and methods that help reduce the itching and swelling. One of them, probably the most famous one that has been around for many years, is the method knows as a \u201chot spoon.\u201d\n
