This whole farm is mine now!\u201d\n</p><p>The old rooster says, \u201cC\u2019mon buddy? At least let me stick around with the old hens? We\u2019ll stay in the back?\u201d\n</p><p>The new rooster is adamant \u201cNo way! All the hens are mine!\u201d.\n</p><p>The old rooster sighs, and offers a proposition: that the two of them race around the farmhouse and if the old rooster wins he can stay on the farm, if he loses then he\u2019ll leave and let the new rooster take over.\n</p><p>The only catch is that since the old rooster isn\u2019t in very good shape, he needs a head start.\n</p><p><img loading='\"lazy\"' decoding='\"async\"' class='\"aligncenter' wp-image-75820 size-full src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/echowoven.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2024%5C/08%5C/92a35cadaf369c56d86a8696cf8bb8ae.jpg%5C%22" alt='\"\"' width='\"600\"' height='\"900\"' title='\"\"' srcset='\"https:\/\/echowoven.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/92a35cadaf369c56d86a8696cf8bb8ae.jpg' https: sizes='\"auto,'>\n</p><p>So the roosters line up, the old one has his head start, and the new rooster takes off.\n</p><p>As he comes round the front of the house, the old rooster is just in front of him.\u00a0 He is so close to beating him.\u00a0 He stretches out his neck and leaps forward, desperate to close the gap between them.\n</p><p>That\u2019s when the farmer looks up from the front porch and sees the two roosters; he takes out his gun, shoots the new rooster in the head, and says,\n</p><p>\u201cDamn!
