She started with some background to\u00a0better understand further circumstances, &rdquo; I\u2019m 29, English, and\u00a0I live in\u00a0Italy with my\u00a0fianc\u00e9 Marco, 37, Italian, and our daughter, 5\u00a0months old, Willow. I\u00a0moved to\u00a0Italy after graduating medical school, where\u00a0I met Marco, and now I\u2019m a\u00a0resident in\u00a0one of\u00a0the hospitals.\n\n\n\n\n</p><div class='\"e599d42b92530cddc130' d678c9ac111a6390ff29>\n<p>My\u00a0father left my\u00a0mum and\u00a0me, and has been very inconsistent. He\u00a0married Tammy when\u00a0I was young, and she has never liked\u00a0me. She was also never able to\u00a0have kids.\n</p><p>So\u00a0when\u00a0I gave birth my\u00a0mum\u2019s side of\u00a0the family came over to\u00a0visit and meet Willow and look after both of\u00a0us. She was getting a\u00a0bit fussy, and she was combination fed, but as\u00a0I was home\u00a0I grabbed a\u00a0cover and let her latch onto\u00a0me.\n</p><p>Tammy says the breastfeeding will have to\u00a0stop soon, I\u2019m confused and ask her why, and she said it\u00a0couldn\u2019t be\u00a0kept up\u00a0when Willow is\u00a0with them. Now I\u2019m even more confused and\u00a0I ask what is\u00a0she on\u00a0about. Claiming that the age gap between myself and Marco is\u00a0unhealthy for a\u00a0child to\u00a0grow up\u00a0with, saying it\u00a0was obvious\u00a0I needed help, and she was happy\u00a0to, and mostly that\u00a0I was obviously more bothered about working than staying home with my\u00a0baby, so\u00a0I should just let her have Willow. But obviously she wasn\u2019t able to\u00a0breastfeed, so\u00a0we\u00a0would have to\u00a0stop that now.\n</p><p>I\u00a0tell her she can\u2019t be\u00a0serious and think I\u2019m giving her my\u00a0baby, and she tells me\u00a0to\u00a0calm down, she\u2019s not asking for full custody, but she could provide a\u00a0much calmer and stabler home and that\u00a0I could always visit. Since then I\u2019ve been really weirded out and been getting texts from my\u00a0father saying\u00a0I need to\u00a0let Tammy prove herself as\u00a0a\u00a0good caregiver. And Tammy has been sending loads of\u00a0photos of\u00a0the nursery she has made.\n</p><p>Just to\u00a0add so\u00a0people don\u2019t get confused. I\u2019m in\u00a0Italy but Tammy isn\u2019t. They had flown over here. And a lawyer \u2014 you need to put it on record now that should anything happen to you they do not get custody (or access, if possible) to your child. \u00a9 PurpleFirebird \/ Reddit\n</li><li>Do\u00a0reach out to\u00a0the appropriate authorities, inform daycare\u00a0\/ babysitters that no\u00a0one else than you or\u00a0your husband can pick up\u00a0your kiddo, no\u00a0exceptions! And install security cameras. This is\u00a0insane.\u00a0\u00a9\u00a0alokasia\u00a0\/ Reddit\n\n<p>Starting a\u00a0new\u00a0relationship can be\u00a0hard for everyone in\u00a0the family. It\u00a0can be\u00a0tough to\u00a0get along with a\u00a0new partner, and communicating with an\u00a0ex\u00a0can make things even more complicated.
