To everyone\u2019s surprise, the carrot had Mary\u2019s engagement ring around its root. It was a joyful and unbelievable moment for Mary and her family.\n</p><p>Mary recalled losing the ring, saying she was in the garden and pulled a weed, which must have caught the ring and pulled it off. She had worn the ring since 1951, a year before marrying her husband, Norman.
