The recall notice covers both the 25g and 100g sizes of the dip.\n

Domino\u2019s Pizza has been forced to discontinue two of its popular dips due to allergy concerns.\n

No Domino\u2019s takeaway is complete without dipping a piece in their famous sauce. Most of us will be fans of the classic Garlic & Herb dip, which is virtually as well-known as the brand and is served free with every pizza. Others may want to drizzle their slices with more modest flavors like Honey & Mustard, BBQ, or Red Hot.\n

However, the pizza company has recalled its Garlic & Herb and Honey & Mustard dips due to worries about allergen contamination.\n

Concerns were raised over the weekend after a consumer posted a screenshot of an email she received from Domino\u2019s about the recall on social media, adding that she had experienced a \u2018itchy mouth\u2019 earlier in the week after eating one of the dips.\n
\u201cHi @Dominos_UK, please say you\u2019re going to shout about this on social media as well as burying this in people\u2019s emails,\u201d the user wrote on X, alongside a screenshot of the email.\n
\u201cI was wondering why I had an itchy mouth and felt sick after dipping my pizza in one of these last week, and other people\u2019s allergies aren\u2019t as mild as mine.\u201d\n
It\u2019s unknown how many consumers received the email informing them that the pizza business was aware \u2018that some of our Garlic and Herb dip and Honey and Mustard dip may contain traces of peanut.\u2019\n
The email then asked anyone with a peanut allergy to immediately discard the 100g Big Dip pots and smaller 25g pots that come with pizzas.\n
A spokesperson for Dominos told: \u201cAt the weekend, we discovered that some batches of Domino\u2019s Pizza Garlic & Herb and Honey & Mustard dips contained traces of peanut which could pose a risk for people with peanut allergies.\n

\u201cWe have withdrawn all these dips from sale, and ask any customers who have people in their household with peanut allergies not to consume and instead dispose of any of these dips that they have at home.\u201d\n
The statement added: \u201cDomino\u2019s takes food safety very seriously and we are working urgently with our supplier to understand how this happened and ensure it doesn\u2019t happen again.\n
