The only problem is that my best friend is getting married on the same day.\n</p><p>I asked her many times to postpone, but she said, &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t change my birth date.&rdquo;<br>\nI told her, &ldquo;Sorry. My friend will get married only once, while you&rsquo;ll have a birthday every year.&rdquo; She was calm and understanding.\n</p><p>I go to the wedding, and in the evening, while I am there, I get a text from a private number. I started shaking and couldn&rsquo;t believe my eyes as I read the words: &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t bother coming home tonight. Your wife won&rsquo;t be there.&rdquo;\n</p><p>I start panicking and call my wife repeatedly, but she doesn&rsquo;t pick up. I leave the wedding party early and go home to see what&rsquo;s going on.\n</p><p>I find my wife just arriving from her party, and she starts laughing sarcastically. With a smirk, she says, &ldquo;I am happy I ruined the night for you just like you ruined my party! This will teach you to prefer anybody else over your wife in the future.&rdquo;\n</p><p>I was really shocked by how things unfolded. I thought she would understand me, but it&rsquo;s clearly not the case. I even ended up doubting my decision and regretting it.
