Every relationship has its ups and downs, but as long as two people have respect for one another, there is nothing that cannot be overcome. At times, things seem dull and as though there is no way out, but love has the power to revive joy and spark change.\n

A woman shared a story of she and her husband were able to face an issue together, despite the challenges and the awkwardness of a situation the husband caused.\n

Namely, the two have been together for a number of years, and married for five.\n

Eventually, they welcomed a child into their lives, and everything felt perfect.\n

The woman\u2019s brother and sister-in-law lived nearby. All of a sudden, her husband started spending a lot of time there, claiming that his brother needed help around the house. The woman, Jesse, didn\u2019t really think much of it, though her husband\u2019s frequent visits to his brother\u2019s place fell odd at times.\n
Months passed by, and Jesse got a call from her sister-in-law one day. Speaking in a strange manner, the sister-in-law told Jesse that there was something she needed them to discuss.\n

Jesse got worried by her tone of voice and asked if everything was all right, to what her SIL answered that it wasn\u2019t.\n

It turned out that Jesse\u2019s husband was visiting his brother\u2019s place every day in order to have dinner there, and the SIL wasn\u2019t fine with that because she believed that he would stop stopping by that frequently but nothing really changed and she felt like she needed to act.\n
Jesse was shocked. Why would her husband eat at his brother\u2019s place every single day?\n
She then recalled him telling her how he missed the food she cooked before their son was born, but now, with the little one in their lives, Jesse turned to a healthier lifestyle and that included choosing healthier food options which her hubby apparently wasn\u2019t fond of.\n
The sister-in-law said that if Jesse\u2019s husband continued eating their food, he needed to contribute to their groceries because they were tight on money and couldn\u2019t afford to feed one more person.\n

Jesse was ashamed by her husband\u2019s behavior and promised to address the issue with him that same day.\n
When her husband got home later that day, she confronted him about the awkward situation he put her in and how embarrassed she was because he was eating at someone else\u2019s place.\n

Her husband admitted that he craved the taste of real food, not the food Jesse introduced the family to during the last year. \u201cYour cooking is awesome, but I long for some comforting food,\u201d he said.\n
It was then that Jesse realized she needed to balance between the food her husband loved and the lifestyle she wanted them to maintain, so she visited the local food market first thing in the morning and got plenty of groceries. For lunch, she prepared a delicious beef stew that her hubby loved. The entire place smelled of home-cooked food, and looking at him having spoonfuls of the stew she realized how much he craved that sort of food.\n

Once lunch was over, Jesse called her SIL and thanked her for everything, including telling her about her husband. She explained that they managed to get through the issue, offered to pay for their groceries for the months, and invited them over for dinner.\n
The SIL was glad Jesse didn\u2019t get mad but instead was willing to solve the issue.\n
