I’ve seen Titanic too many times to ever consider going on a cruise, but maybe the thought of all the other passengers being completely nude might help me forget about my dread of the ship capsizing—after all, it’s said that picturing an audience completely nude helps calm nerves. But what happens if you become a little too excited while gazing at the sea of nude bodies surrounding you?

A passenger on a cruise ship who “disembarked from a 2,000 person nude cruise” two days ago has shared their entire experience on Reddit. The traveler sailed from Tampa, Florida, on a seven-day, $2,500 excursion arranged by Texas-based Bare Necessities Tour and Travel.
The user u/wisecommenter2 opened up the forum r/AMA to other users’ inquiries regarding the unusual event. They claimed to be “an experienced nudist” and that this made them “very comfortable from the beginning” of the trip. However, did this comfort evaporate if someone became overly stimulated by the sight of so many nude people?
The user was questioned by U/LostnHidden: “Nudism in general, perhaps not specifically related to the trip… Boners, I suppose, just happen, since they do in regular clothed life as well. Are they looked down upon here, or are they just accepted?”
In response, the initial poster stated that, in their opinion, boners “almost never happen.” Given how non-sexual this vacation is, a man might want to conceal it in some way. Compared to nudists, non-nudists give this a lot more thought,” they stated.
u/tortillini-houdini, another user, commented, “What was the rule for boners?” The commenter went on to say, “As I mentioned before, nonnudists are far more concerned about this than nudists. In my 10 years as a nudist, I have seldom ever seen one. “Since this cruise is not a sex-positive event, the man would be expected to conceal it.” What is it for, though, wonders another user, u/YoungandPregnant, since the “nudist thing is not sexual in nature at all?”
The user is asked if they have ever engaged in “skinny dipping” by a nudist cruise traveler, who remarks that it’s “great” to be nude while engaging in activities like swimming, dancing, and solo beach walks—or at least that’s what they find most enjoyable about the experience. The user decides: “It’s good too, because to be honest, I don’t mind seeing naked women.
For the same reason that guys don’t wear shirts on the beach or when swimming. It’s a wonderful sensation. Some people must get a rush from exhibitionism, but not me. Furthermore, I doubt that a single naked individual among 2,000 naked persons qualifies as an exhibitionist.” There you have it, then. You may just test it yourself, or you know exactly what happens on a naked cruise without having to undress and join?

I’ve seen Titanic too many times to ever consider going on a cruise, but maybe the thought of all the other passengers being completely nude might help me forget about my dread of the ship capsizing—after all, it’s said that picturing an audience completely nude helps calm nerves.
