Having an urgent problem with a main computer, he phoned the employee\u2019s home number and was greeted with a child\u2019s whisper, \u2018Hello?\u2019\n<p><em>\u2018Is your Daddy home?\u2019 he asked. \u2018Yes\u2019, whispered the small voice.\n<p><em>\u2018May I speak to him?\u2019 The child whispered \u2018No.\u2019\n<p>Surprised and wanting to talk to an adult, the boss asked, \u2018Is your Mummy there?\u2019\n</p><p>\u2018Yes.\u2019\n</p><p>\u2018Well may I speak to her, then?\u2019 Again the small voice whispered \u2018No.\u2019\n</p><p><img loading='\"lazy\"' decoding='\"async\"' class='\"aligncenter' size-full wp-image-87381 src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/echowoven.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2024%5C/10%5C/464579958_1109629190731676_1779063806665676787_n.jpg%5C%22" alt='\"\"' width='\"1200\"' height='\"631\"' title='\"\"' srcset='\"https:\/\/echowoven.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/464579958_1109629190731676_1779063806665676787_n.jpg' https: sizes='\"auto,'>\n</p><p>Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, \u2018Is anybody else there?\u2019\n</p><p>\u2018Yes,\u2019 whispered the child, \u2018a policeman.\u2019\n</p><p>Wondering what the police would be doing at his employee\u2019s home, the boss asked, \u2018May I speak to the policeman?\u2019\n</p><p>\u2018No, he\u2019s busy,\u2019 whispered the child.\n</p><p>\u2018Busy doing what?\u2019\n</p><p>\u2018Talking to Mummy and Daddy and the Fireman,\u2019 came the whispered reply.\n</p><p>Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background coming down the phone, the boss asked \u2018What\u2019s that noise?\u2019\n</p><p>\u2018A helicopter\u2019, answered the whispering voice.\n</p><p>\u2018What\u2019s going on there?\u2019 demanded the boss, now really apprehensive.\n</p><p>Again, whispering, the child answered, \u2018The search team has just landed a helicopter.\u2019\n</p><p>Alarmed, concerned, and a little frustrated, the boss asked \u2018What are they searching for?\u2019\n</p><p>Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle\u2026 \u2018ME!\u2019\n</p><h4 class='\"wp-block-heading\"'>Wow, that was an unexpected twist there at the end. Did any of you see that coming?\n</h4><p>Some children can have such cheeky personalities. While it is cute to see them acting funny and mischievous, they can also be a little (or a lot) naughty at times. Although this is a joke, I could actually imagine this happening. A hide and seek game gone a little too far.
