Salena\u2019s elaborate graveyard scene in her front yard was a labor of love, complete with ghosts, spiderwebs, and skeletons carrying a casket. However, when her neighbor approached her with a heartfelt request, she didn\u2019t hesitate.\n

\nThe neighbor\u2019s elderly father had just been diagnosed with lung cancer, and the graveyard scene was unsettling for him. He politely asked Salena to remove the casket, explaining that his father spent time in the garage facing her yard.\n

Salena\u2019s empathy kicked in, and she understood the importance of removing the potentially distressing decoration. \u201cI didn\u2019t want to add stress to someone else\u2019s life,\u201d she said. She replaced the casket with badminton rackets, relocating the scarier decorations to her backyard.\n
