In 2004, Clinton underwent quadruple coronary bypass surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York after doctors discovered life-threatening blockages in his arteries.\n</p><p>Led by Dr. Craig R. In 2010, Clinton required emergency surgery to insert two stents after a vein from his bypass surgery failed.
