Self expression is a fundamental part of being yourself. Tattoos are a wonderful way for people to be able to express themselves through art. 51-year-old Richard Huff has chosen tattoos as the way of expressing himself as well and has over 240 tattoos.\n

The self-proclaimed ink addict has a family with five children and his wife. His wife often posts videos and pictures of him with their kids which are not always well received by viewers.\n

The 51-year-old Huff wants people to know that his family is \u201cno different\u201d from any other.\u00a0\n
But he has admitted that complete strangers regularly ridicule him online because of his appearance.\n
He described his beginnings. \u201cIt became an addiction, I started with my legs and worked my way up,\u201d Huff said.\n

He shared how it all started for him. \u201cIt became an addiction, I started with my legs and worked my way up,\u201d Huff said. He shared that 85% of his body is now covered in tattoos. Among the tattoos are names of his children and his daughter\u2019s lips.\n
\u201cI want to be 100% covered in tattoos probably within the next four years,\u201d shared Richard. \u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s the pain or the artwork that you put on you, but it just becomes fascinating when you\u2019re able to do this.\u201d\n
He claimed that having so many tattoos had its own difficulties. He admitted that the kids at his kids\u2019 school thought he was scary.\n
In her own words, his daughter has said, \u201cThey say, \u2019ah it\u2019s a bit scary\u2019 and I say \u2019no, my dad is not scary, he is good with tattoos.\u2019\u201d\n

As for his wife Marita, she revealed that she was scared of Richard as well. She said, \u201cI did judge Richard based on his looks at first but as I got to know him a little bit, he is actually a big-hearted person.\u201d\n
She frequently writes in her blog posts about how much her husband adores her. She continuously praises his qualities, calling him a devoted husband and loving father.\n
Marita has revealed to others that Richard is much more than a true father to his three children from previous marriages.\n

Richard shared, \u201cI participate in the PTA, I go to all my kids\u2019 functions.\u201d\n
But even with all this information about his gentle soul out there, people still criticize him.\n
One comment read, \u201cI\u2019m not against tattoos, but I mean honestly, does he really need tattoos on his face like that?\u201d\n

But there are others who also defend Richard. One said, \u201cEveryone keeps talking about his face tattoo. He likes it. He got it. He\u2019s a good father. Let him be.\u201d\n
Richard responded to the critique by saying, \u201cIf somebody can make negative comments like that, there\u2019s something wrong with them themselves that they would have to judge somebody else.\u201d Adding, \u201cThis is what we did and we\u2019re happy. We\u2019ve been together six years our kids are happy and to us, that\u2019s all that matters.\u201d\n
Richard goes on to remark that no matter how much his family despises him or how much he despises them, he still loves them..\u00a0\n
\u201cHaving tattoos does not scare my children, it does not make me a bad father, it makes my kids get a different perspective on life,\u201d he said.\n
Some people find it hard to believe this is the same person after seeing him without all the tattoos!\n
